I've heard a few spots on KCRW about this and various articles in local publications. It looks like an interesting exhibition... too bad it hasn't gotten very good reviews. As it's supposed to be a representation of the altered states of mind, some critics say it doesn't "do it's job" and is a "poor justice to the actual state of drug enduced utopia" (what kind of drugs did these cats ever do, anyway- they never had a bad trip??) Hence the reason DJBas has decided to help things along??!! LOL

Has anyone else been to experience it, yet? I'd love to go, and hope I get the time before it's pulled to the next city. It would be interesting to see if the 'reprdouction of an altered mind' really is similar to the ACTUAL altered mind!

Art is an altered state of mind, in itself. To appreciate it, you have to release all criticism and pre-concieved articles to accept what it is about the piece (music, sculpture, architecture, paint) that the artist desires to instill emotionally. I hope I drain the critics' ratings out of my skull before I get to see it.

I think they close at 9. We went at around 3 on Sunday and got out at around 5. It's lots of fun, some exhibits were done while on drugs...others display what it's like to be on drugs. And still some would be sick to see totally fucked up! DUDE!! HOLY SHIT! There's a fountain that's flowing REAL LSD!! There's a certificate for it hanging on the wall, certified LSD just flowing out of this fountain...so technically if someone fell in
