There's a semantics issue here.
He shouldn't get a hissy-fit over someone's opinion. That was what I was trying to say.
But a lot of trance vocals are stupid and cheesy. It's a fact. There's no escaping this fact. Read over some trance lyrics. But that doesn't mean that the song is nice to listen to and it doesn't stop it from being fun.
You probobly saw through my excuse, so i'll just say you're right.

Its because there is an extremely fine line between good well done vocal trance (eg: Kansai - Remember this Night, Satelite) and cheesy as shite psuedo dance/trance crap (DJ Sammy, Sash).
Many of these vocal numbers tread both paths and end up being just crap vocal trance. Trance can come perilously close to being euro cheese at the best of times and throwing in vocals is like skinny dipping with sharks. You'd better know what the hell your doing...

today there is practically no good tunes with vocals done. that era is long ago over. the reason for this is that the majority of the tunes with vocals are not made with vocals in mind when originally made (4 strings - into the night etc). That's why they sounds so horribly wrong when the producer just slaps some random shit vocals over the instrumental tune. It's like if he can only fit them in the breakdown where it gets silent for a while.
And the mood in the tune rarely works well with the vocals making most vocals sound like a joke.
Oh and finally what the fuck is "my sleeping satellite" ? Someone should throw in a satellite into the anjunabeats studio.

sometimes they sound cheap and crap, but i guess it depends on who you are and your own tastes. the lange remix of 'agnelli & nelson - everyday' is just about my favourite ever track, and i love the words in it, cheesy or not other times however they just seem silly, and pretty much all the same.

It's 'singing satellite', and I agree that those vocals are pure cheddar, but then there are some cheddary vox I like, like Dumonde vs Lange - Memory
Sleeping Satellite is a track by Aurora remixed by Super8....

dunno about the others, but delerium is a rock band, so they arent technically trance vocals
