Hey. I dont think that sample is at all lame. Its a slow spacey intro into a possibly great song. I like the power of the kick though it needs to be EQed and compressed better so it isnt rumbling but hey, 3 weeks lol. I didnt even start EQing my tracks til about a year into producing simply because I didnt know what to listen for. Compression came a lot later but with everything, it takes time to learn the craft. For the next section of the song, try fading the cutoff of the bassline up. Maybe add some resonance to it as well. Definantly dont stop producing though. I will say that this sample is a great start. Much much better than my first attempt.

Your just starting, a few weeks wont do anything, if you dedicated enough you will stick to it and become a better producer. Hang in there.

That sample is pretty sweet. It has a spacey intro like darksword I think said. My first song was nothing like this...it was little more lame but...heh. Keep working on it though I think that you could really turn that track into something pretty psytrance or something and it will sound great. Of course you're only 3 weeks into producing, but if you feel you really like it and it doesn't turn out how you think it should, then work on it another time and you might see something different that you want to do. Good luck and it will take a lot of time and practice.

@ djlogik yes, i did that synth sound with psytrance in mind, i hope i can create the rest of the elements and then build the track.
