actually.. it happens when you book Carl on a wednesday at a drinking club.

He played plenty of techno at Guv.. and I would be willing to bet when he played Victoria on a saturday night it was much of the same.

If he was playing Aria on a weekend it would be a lot more techno.. I'd bet on it.

Techno is easily my favorite kind of EDM, and I'd 100% go see any of the artists you listed, at any fkin club! Bring back the tech!

Probably right. Carl on a friday night probably be techno, not sure on a saturday at Aria, but anything possible.

Thing dislike if people need to drink and/or do drugs to enjoy the music *sigh*

ok...not everyone does the drugs to enjoy the music...i listen to this stuff sober...i dont drink or do anything during the week.I do on occasion tke something when i go to an afterhours.I like dancing for 8 hours str8 and dont care about much else.Anything in moderation is acceptable.Those who go out just to get mashed are the ones who suck...music first..disco biscuits second.

Gah, people need to stop booking Mauro Picotto. He is the most overrated DJ on the planet IMO.

I would definitely start coming back to Montreal more often if the techno heavyweights were playing at Aria. Beyer, Mills, Sims, etc. I miss those nights...RIP Advanced *tear*

Liebing is God....i dont really consider Picotto as Techno.
