The original thread was started by, what seemed to be, a racist White person who was upset because, eventually, there will be no "color." There will be no white, there will be no black... everyone will be one universal color. Again, this isn't going to happen in the next 100, 1,000, or 100,000 thousands years. I'm sure it will be noticed by then and probably accepted as fact, but it is almost assuredly going to happen. Evolution takes millions and millions of years.
We all started as black because the human civilization started in Africa, pretty sure in Egypt or around that area. Middle East. As we became more advanced and travelled to different areas of the globe, some developed a lighter skin tone because we didn't need to be protected from the sun as much. Notice, it's Scandanavian and Northen European countries where most light-skinned people come from. Italians and Spanish are usually a shade darker.
The original point in the first thread was that, die to interracial marriages and what not, the white race will eventually become "extinct." Dark features always dominate over light features. So, if I, the whitest of the white, were to make babes with a darker skinned white chick, our baby would likely come out closer to her skin tone then mine. Recycle that idea, and the whitey whites will keep getting darker and darker and darker and darker. Eventually, the human race will be almost entirely tan/olive. I'm sure in places like Africa and the West Indies, black skin will still dominate, but in general, the Earth's population will be that beautiful olive color.
Ya dig?
And I am the least racist/prejudice/judgemental person I know. I don't think less of anyone due to their color, nationality, beliefs, cultures, etc...

Haven't you guys all seen the South Park episode with the "goo-backs" from the future. Same concept. It's going to be tough to learn that language, though.

Perhaps if Dani had put that I wouldn't have gotten so fired up. Thanks for the summary I do dig
Put my final .02 cents, alright maybe .05
Maybe there is a reason you can't find the thread anymore.
And if I want to get my "feathers in a ruff" then I fuckin can. You know I had to deal with people calling me names or makin judgements about me simply cause my mom is Spanish. On the day of here wedding her mother told her she couldn't marry my dad cause he was Irish and German not Spanish. maybe not the same as black or white but it still hits home. I guess for me I have never even looked at the color of a person's skin because of the way I was raised and my parents past and to me I find it ignorant when someone has to refrence it in any way, my opinion and I am entitled to that.
But seriously the previous thread died, let it go instead of startin up again. Also never said that you weren't open minded but to start a thread like that and then to not even give information can put people off. You and I might be open minded but most of the world isn't. and IMO even smplie topics like this still keep racism alive. Why even discuss or comment about the future or present color of our skin. What's the point? I think if you are open minded and educated you would already know that eventually we all will be one race, one color.

I agree with Arn here. Being open minded means that you accept that everyone has different opinions, not just that you aren't racist/sexist/etc. I am not racist, but I accept that some people are. I don't understand it and I don't condone it, but I understand that that is the way some people choose to live their lives. Here's a game.
Walking down the street, by yourself, alone, at night, who would you be afraid of most and least:
OR
OR
Prejudice is not just black/white/spanish/asian. Prejudice is people who judge instantly by the way people look. For example, at my job, the brother of one of the students approached a teacher to ask about his brothers grades. He was wearing a long trenchcoat, he has piercings in his nose and eyebrows. He has long black hair. The teacher said to me afterwards "How do I know he didn't have a gun?" I replied with "How does he know you didn't have a gun?" Think about it...
