Ehh, Nobu isnt all its cracked up to be...
The place is all about quanity and not quality... and even still I heard they are pretty cheap with the quantity too.
I took that hot (bitch) blonde that some of you saw to Yama, my only complaint is that they put a bit of wasabi in all of the rolls - but, it was still really focking good.

a dab of wassabi is the usual in an "ala carte" selection - also evident in rolls. however yama is notorious for their soft-shell crab, white tuna, toro, and of course their eel.
it gets my vote as best sushi in nyc. Trust me I've ate at plenty of sushi spots, nothing ever compares to yama!
For those AYCE Sushi people, there is an AYCE Sushi rest. by my place in the Upper West Side. It's called Kinoko on 72nd St and Amsterdam (across the street from Gray's Papaya)
If anyone wants to go one day after work, I'd be up for it.

morillo was at a table with about 5 other gentlemen.
perhaps the criticisms of the sushi is warranted, but this is nobu 57, not the old school one. to brian, yeah i'll definitely try other places in the city. that's what's awesome about ny... i still enjoyed the place last night

After game 2 of the world series sun, me and my bro went to some bar/club called level in chicago and saw Brian Urlacher there, didn't want to bother him since he was prob celebrating one of the few wins they are gonna get this year
