If I recall correctly when we had that Best/most influental EDM producer on TA earlier this year Oliver Lieb made it into the finals. And trance is just one part of him. He does techno, ambient, house, film scores and other stuff, and he does it well.
Wasn't that the vote that said Sasha was the greatest producer of electronic dance music ever? Hmm...
To be honest, Oliver Lieb albums (whether it's Spicelab, LSG or whatever) are rarer than rocking horse shit in this country, so I haven't heard enough of his work to genuinely comment. Of the assortment of stuff he's made that I have heard (mostly remixes) I haven't really enjoyed any of it.
L.S.G. - Netherworld
L.S.G. - Blueprint (Version 1)
L.S.G. - Train Of Thought 0.9 (Intro Mix)
Ivan - Gorki
Velocity - Lust (L.S.G. Remix)
Origin - Wide Eyed Angel (Oliver Lieb Remix)
Utah Saints - Lost Vagueness (Oliver Lieb Dub)
L.S.G. - Hidden Sun Of Venus (Original 12" Mix)
Kamaya Painters - Far From Over (Oliver Lieb Remix)
but nothing comes close to my favourites:
Dove Beat - La Paloma!!!!
The Ambush - Everlast!!!!!!!!!!
No one can really argue against his amazing production & influence... just look at how many times his tunes & melodies have been raped by dodgy copycats like Tiesto & Mario Piu.

yes I didnt say he won because Sasha won that poll which is funny enough since most of Sashas greatest pieces are produced by Charlie May. But Lieb came third or something.
Oliver Lieb play in a league where only a few other producers make it. One of them is BT.
