Noooo. Don't go for a whole main section thing. It's totally not necessary.

Anyway. I like the rawness of your bass line.

You see? The breakdown sets a mood, then lets the song carry the mood by proxy without needing to be melodic at all.

I didn't notice it the first time, but the sound that starts back in at 2:48 sounds kinda cheesy, especially during the legato articulations. Call me a fogey, but I think that would do well staccato the whole way through, and a little filtered to get that "radar ping" sound that a lot of old school trance had.

Keep it up.

Great stuff, Tyler! Perhaps mess around with the melody that plays at 2:05.. That can sound so much better! Any clue where you're going to sign it?

I gave the second break thing a shot and I just didn't like how it sounded. I think it'll probably end up staying as is. But hey, feel free to remix it

And Alan, I have no idea if this will get signed. I've just been sending it out to a few djs for some feeback, so we'll see if anyone is interested in it.

Man, this just reassures me why you're one of my fav producers mate, another excellent tune. The breakdown is absolutely wonderful, and hands down the best use of a police siren i've ever heard

Great production etc, 2 very large thumbs up

Great track.
I really like the bass but I think you should add an offbeat sub.
The legato is omg
I'd add it like this:
first breakdown: as it is
second breakdown: without it and then bang a quick transition and use it. It will give a lot of power.
About remixing it, I'll consider if you'd wish
The fxes are crisp ofcourse.

4.5/5

Omer

hey tyler

i really liked the build to the break. atmosphere is good and everything sounds really full. i didn't quite like the instrument or the melody used in the break however. not really sure why, just not quite feeling it.

also, post break the track just got a bit repetitive i suppose? i'm assuming you didn't really finish it though. because it doesn't ever really climax anywhere.

overall i like the sine melodies and the atmosphere. percussion is fine and everything else sounds good.
