how can a show like 7th heaven go to 10 seasons and arrested development get killed like this right away

Did the same thing not happen with seinfeld in the ratings before it took off to become one of the top comedys in history?

FOX is a bunch of ass monkeys.

Goddamnit Fox, why do they have to cancel one of the best shows. Who cares what the ratings are, its better than just about every show on tv (save for 24, lost and rescue me).

Theyre probably hoping for Family guy syndrome. Cancel a popular show; release it on DVD; make a ton of money oiff the first few seasons then announce the show is coming back, to reinvigortae the fan base....

arrested development is (was) probably the best comedy on TV right now. its like americans cant get the jokes unless theres an audience laffing during the recording. i found the humor in AD to be different, quirky and effective. pity its over now it was very entertaining.

just got thru watching the first season again. i cant stop laffin at the prison scenes were the guards keep shouting "No Touching!"

The first season is great. I love the one with bring your daughter to work day and the little girl like slams the nightstick on the table and yells "No touching!" Hilarious. I like how there is no laugh track, I think it makes other shows sound dumb when they have totally lame joke and theres laughing in the background.
Hopefully ratings will be good enough for the rest of the season that Fox will bring it back.

havnt seen any of season 3 just yet

ploughin thru 2 as we speak tho!

The third is really good...not that the first 2 weren't. The 2 they just showed back to back this week are some of the funniest I've seen, and that's saying alot compared with how good their usual shows are.
