All i can say is david morales is fuckin gay......
514 productions should of just got mc mario to play for 6 hours and saved some $$$$$$$$
xl was good .... not xl's normal style.....he was trying something new.
I walked in at 1pm ( with my vip tick ) no line.....hahaha
Missy b and xl were good but ive seen way better...That is what i don't understand about montreal.....
it was the best looking crowd at any party ive been to.
I don't know if i was the only one who noticed but xl fucked up alot alot....his set at sona on saturday was twice as good.
I had a good time considering i had a drug free night.yaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I need to know a songs name.....it's on the tiesto cd live @ dancevally at 32 mins....missy b played it and so did morales

Might be Lalaland?....cuz they both played it with different remixes. But then again i dont think tiesto would play it.
True XL fucked up alot i did hear the fuck ups many times but i did hear the same fuck ups at Cream when he started off...Its weird. He is not stable. As fo David Morales...due to his 6hours set u could realize his fast fading...like brarely 30seconds at most mixing in and out and some tracks just were too humiliating to play infront of other tracks. Its like bringing Mc mario there !
And Del u notice how this could have been the first rave for lots of people cause i seen more of the "clubbers" than "ravers", and especially when morales started playin those cheesy tracks u can see them enjoying it! .But that's their style.
Imo, if Barbara didn't play that 2hours set it would have been a real bad one, but still why would anyone put a hard Tech Dj at the end?
Eli i did warn you about getting glowstix inside hehehe
But i got passed the search from the other side of the entrance where the security didnt care much how to search me, i got all my glowstix and my flashing ballz. And same that happened to you ,my friend lost a big pack of "vitamins" worth alot. But its celebration so i tried my best to keep him happy cuz that sort of thing makes u down.

Anyway it was sort of a weird experience , so now back to 2002 , more serious shit to do!!! Enjoy

grady u summarized my review!!! i knew u would hate dave morales..hahahaha hold on

heres the set listing for dance valley......be aware that most downloadable sets including the one that was on tranceaddict started with marco v - simulated
1. DJ Tiësto & junkie XL - Obsession
2. Pete Heller - Stylus Trouble
3. Chiller Twist - Strings Unlimited

break: commercials

4. Dido - Take My Hand (Rollo & Sister Bliss Remix)
5. Cygnus X - Positron
6. Olive - You're Not Alone (DJ Tiësto Remix)
7. Marco V. - Simulated
8. Winsider - Hidden Flight
9. DJ Tiësto - Flight 643
10. Katana - Fancy Fair
11. CJ Bolland - The Prophet

break: news

12. King Of Clubs - revelation (Airwave Remix)
13. Members Of Mayday - 10 in 1 (PVD Remix)
14. Oliver Lieb - Metro (US mix)
15. The Chemical Brothers - Africa
16. DJ Tiesto - Urban Train
=====================================================================

no one played fancy fair, the prophet, 10 in 1...so it must have been metro (us mix) because the chemical brothers song wasnt the one i told u about grady

I loved the cheesy tracks =) heh, its something you dont hear too often!, and some of the girls I was with liked them so your right.

The only reason that it bothered you is because its popular here, but i'm sure it was fine with you that he spun some very cheesy 'trance'.. which in Europe is EXTREMELY popular!..

More "clubbers" than "ravers"... haha, its been like that @ 514 parties for years now..

I liked his speech at the end, something along the lines of 'respect for people who know who I am'.. and if you dont know who david morales is.. then you dont really know much. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he owns (shareholder?) of Stereo in Montreal, his a world figure on the house scene ('US' House), and first and foremost he was acting the uttermost professional last night.. in his 5-6 hour set, he pleased the crowd, jumping from different styles (kidna reminded me of Laurent Garnier's set @ sona last spring).

The only MAJOR dissapointment (that I can blame on them) is misstress barbara who could of showed up earlier (wasn't she headlinging in quebec or something), and the extravagent price of the whole event.

he played cheesy trance?????????did he play trance??????

the only 2tracks i might call them trance are Knights of the jaguar and Hide u(which is barely trancy),and love in Traffic (almost missed that one hehe) and they were all remixed to accomodate the house scene
Thats about it

i agree with zing...if anyone claims that his set was somewhat trancy..i recommend u review your musical genres......that whole set was house and nothing but house......from cheese house...to club house...to some prog at times.....to NY/chicago house to regular house.......as i said...i dont like house in most forms and the only song that sounded cool in his set was the same one eddy jasmin played when i walked in at 11:30....if anyone knows what it is..please tell me.....it has very low bass and maybe u realized that eddy jasmin played it at 11:30 and he played it at 1:30

It is metro usa mix...........thanks delstar......i knew it wasn't la
la land or any of the other songs cause i have them all....
Ps: hate to break it to you sylphin but i don't remember david morales being good at all...And i don't remember to much trance just gay house......i think he bought 1/2 of his vinals used at garage sales.( old stuff )

And all you guys in this room need to stop complaining about ticket prices .... If ur to cheap to go don't......

ps:At swirl 514 should bring in all europeans.... marco v .mauro p
sven vath and westbam...and have like the hardest party ever....
If they ever did i would be there in a sec...Or just something new in mtl different for 2002....like lisa lashes..dj jean .marco bailey.
i'm bored of max graham and missy b ive seen them a few times to many.
