Desyn has left the country...
I'll miss him.
It just felt today like it was just another day out with the usuals playing, you know Desyn + Nic and Zabs hanging around in the crowd the whole time.
Better set from Desyn this time around, played roughly 10 good tracks including 2 superb tracks - kept the electro relegated to just a few tracks. Sucked how they had to turn the volume down, kinda killed the atmosphere. Was standing next to the speakers the whole time and my ears aren't buzzing at all and I've got piss-weak ears...
But I must say that Nic took the cake today. Great energetic and varied set from him. Highlight was definitely him playing Frankie Knuckles - Your Love. Anyone who saw how apeshit I went to that track would understand. The thing is that I just had that tune id'd a few days ago but I only saw it today:

I literally posted the thanks reply last thing before I walked out the door and to the gig. And for a dj like Fanciulli to play an original version of an old-skool house track from '85 is something special.
Wow shout-outs to all the TA's backing up! Great seeing you all there, looked like everyone was having fun. Now to get a weekend like that every month...
