Dude, you can't just wipe out something that happened. That would mess up everything. For example, Mr. Weakling hit a single. Mr. Monster comes up and hits a home run. So you take away Monsters Home Run and RBI. But what about Weakling's run scored? And what about the pitchers ERA? Taking away stats doensn't only affect the player you're taking them away from.
And, when all is said and done, Albert Pujols and Alex Rodriguez will have 800+ Homeruns.
