I don't think you guys grasp the enormity of my luggage...
I'm not sure of the dimensions exactly, but I'd guess it's at least 1 metre, by maybe 75 by like 50, or something like that. When I put it on the scales coming to Canada, I think it was something like 35+ kg. The size of a typical snowboard bag is about 170cm long, and isn't exactly the easiest shape to work with, even if it has wheels on the bottom.
So basically, I have two huge bags that roll on the ground, not to mention my actual carry on bag, which will be loaded with stuff. It doesn't leave much room for manoeuvreability, and especially on the subway system. I know it's not all that hard to transfer on the subway normally (I take it every day to work up to Finch anyway), but trying to do it with so much crap is a little bit of a struggle. Same applies for crossing the street. Broken pavement is your worst enemy when you've got two rolling bags of luggage.
As for flying, the extra weight would strain my wings too much. I've already over used them this year, and my doctor told me I need to hold off on using them except in emergencies, for fear of occupational overuse syndrome.
As for teleporting, there's a sign on my end of the button that says "out of order". I'd rather trust the sign and take my chances elsewhere. Especially when it's got to do with a teleporter.
Nat: Yes, I will be, once I finish my ski season in Fernie.
Lisa: I'll come back and visit for like two days after I'm done with my season if that helps (mostly to pick up crap that I'm leaving here eg business shirts and whatnot). Then I fly back to Aus for a good fair while (at least in theory).
