$150 is about my limit for a piece of clothing.

i used to be somewhat like this... when i was 14. i'm now 20, and i could never buy a pair of pants for more than €25. everything above that makes me cringe. as for t-shirts i could never pay more than €6-8, since i feel no urge to pay for overprized tshirts with 'cool' logotypes on them. i'd rather make my own clothes.

next time i'm visiting thailand, i'll be sure to bring home shiploads of cheap tshirts (no, not the fake ones with NOKE or ODDIDOS logos). i'm proud to say i payed €10 for 5 tshirts, without arguing about the price with the store clerk

I have no problems wearing a 800$ jacket, but no way in hell I'm going to indulge my kids that way. When that times come, they should be dressed as small kids should. Unexpensive clothes with cudly pictures of animals and such, which they can climb trees with and play in the dirt. Heh...

And one last thing: the joke is on you.

I mean, all this report is telling me is what I already knew.

Some people in this world are the total and complete oppposite of me.

The notion of someone in this world being a rich, materialistic bitch with no sense of what it means to have any real depth doesn't surprise me.

people like that exist.

but im not going to look at them and think they're any cooler for having all the greatest clothes/car/etc...

if anything, all it shows (in relation to the girls interviewed in this article) is their shallowness.
