Hey. If you can explain the use for this (cause I havent the foggiest of ideas...), I can probably tell you how to do it differently without wanting to change the tempo.

Cheers,
Zac

Hey. Now I'm confused . The tempo in that track never changes. Its constant from the beginning...

Cheers,
Zac

Just automate the tempo, doing right click then edit events, it will change the tempo of the whole track, but if you are playing the melody solo, it won't be a problem. One thing tho, make sure you will not use audio LOOPS of any kind, because when you change the tempo they will be time stretched.

If you are talking about change the time signature, like Adam White did in his track Ballerina, It can not be done in FL Studio.

i think your mistaking the difference of time between notes as tempo changes. maybe also because the velocity of the piano also kind of builds and climbs. this could all be done in piano roll i'd think.

The tempo never changes in that track. That track is all about slowly turning up the velocity/volume of each note and changing the placement of the notes. For instance they'll start playing with a C5 for 2 beats and then 4 measures later they'll play the same C5 but for only 1 beat. It's all about the length of the notes.

The note placement is all based on you, but the velocity changing is done like this...go to your piano roll and for the first note you place go down to the bottom where you have the green vertical lines and start it off really small. From there just make each new note a little higher than the previous. You'll figure out exactly how you want it when you play it with the rest of the mix. Good luck.

Yea but what about the notes? It sounds like theres getting more and more notes, so do i just delete some, and then as it moves further into the melody set them back again?

You my friend...seem like you should read a little more on music composition or at least read more about music theory. They either make the notes longer or there are less notes. If you don't understand this then you should really do some reading first instead.

you can do it the hard way and figure out the math and where to put your midi notes. or grab ableton and load up your patch and midi files and then just record in real time and fiddle witht he bpm. bounce it down and then load it back up in fl.
