well, did my best to make the best of it, despite me finding out that like 9 out of 10 big promoters involved with this party were Asian and it was like 20 50 y/o FOBs for every white trance lover that was there to see me, so that kinda sucked... spun in the chapel because of a mix up and a last minute decision that they wanted main floor with hip hop for some reason.... sure enough, like always, there was a problem... the PLAY buttons on the CD decks had no buttons so everytime i wanted to press play i hadda reach deep inside the thing with my pinky and touch this tiny little button, which half the time i would miss because it was so small, so i miscued a few times... to add insult to injury, there was a MAJOR problem with the mixer, especially with the EQs... whenever i messed with the right side of the crossfader's EQs, sound would just come in and out, not fading lyke, but just shut off for like a millisecond or even seconds on end and then come in just as loud, it was extremely frusturating, especially since i eventually decided to NOT play with EQs at all so mixing in tracks with both kicks going at the same time made for some really loud bass action which im not too fond of, i loooove using EQs to bring tracks in, and im sure most DJs too, but it was just too much a risk... even tho it was still doing it when i DIDNT touch the EQs... id have to give it the slightest of taps and the sound would come on again, i seriously think they gave us some old mixer from back in the Limelight days because i cant see the resident DJs in the chapel putting up with this shit every week.... i spun a good two hours, did my best with what i had, had a smaller turnout than i expected but w.e., it was Thanksgiving, it was a bitch for me to drag myself there so i wasnt expecting all my friends and supporters to be there either haha... heres a tracklist of what i remember (may be a little out of order but thats the general tracklist of what i remember was played)....

haha, i feel ya. I've played in the Spyder Room before and the setup in there was fucking awful too. NO monitors, 20 year old rane mixer that had all its knobs ripped off, dual cd deck that was missing buttons. I don't get why a place like that can't afford even decent gear for their side room.s The fucking kid in the bathroom has a pioneer DJM and two cdj1000's lol.
