my suggestion,
download all the freebies available on this site, you can find them in the music section on the main page. See which songs you like, and then read the descriptions given and match it w/ a style of EDM.
if you are a fan of Tiesto but don't know much about him, a good place to get started is with his Magick series or In Search of Sunrise compilations. My personal favorites out of that lot are ISOS 1, and Magick 5 (Heaven Beyond)

he was also incredibly vague. 'good trance songs' depends on what kind of trance he heard/likes. the tiestor fan is obviously gonna like something way different from the fred baker or john 00 fleming fan. sorry but a first post like that deserves a bunch of joke responses.
