I sometimes get similar emails from "ebay" asking me to verify my details, or else my account will be suspended.

The worst ones are the fake emails from banks that ask you to click on a link to verify your account details. As if they are ever real!

Oh well, stupid people still fall for it and they end up getting their bank account cleaned out

I get 3 or so emails like this a week. Just delete it! Freaken scam spam

Definatly a scam. All paypal urls start with https://... When I get one like these, I sent a reply saying something like "fuck off" or "suck it" which then send an email to the real paypal, and notifies them about the scammers.

yeah don't get mad get even. i posted something for sale. Some a-hole trys to scam me with fake postal order, so i reported him and got his gmail account suspended. revenge is so sweet.

that's a definite scam. if you're ever unsure about these things, just call paypal (or whatever company) and ask them.
