You won't get rid of the original percussions 100% but when using eq, filters or effects you can disguise them ...
Listen to Armand Van Helden's "You Dont Even Know Me" you will still hear the original percussions when the sample is played solo ...
So once again Layers!
Take a sample but your own beats on top and you´re on your way!

You rarely hear them in isolation when used as a sample....
Eq and filtering does the bulk of it, but the rest of the original track is masked by the new track.
Listen to spiller - 'groovejet' and listen to what I mean. Its an old salsoul sample

ok this I understand, but in your otehr post you said its possible and I thought you ment 100%....so thanks dude I appreciate the info.
