no. i work in a music store. we carry every kind of turntable. they are all the same.
when you show up to a club with your bag of records anywhere in the world, guess what you are going to be looking at?
you guessed it.
if you just want to spin in your bedroom for fun, then sure, you can get some junk turntables and end up selling them because they suck, but if you want to really be a dj, remember you have more competition than you can imagine. you need to be very familiar with the only industry standard.
