apart from swapping the basses, basically just let it fade nicely since the main focus is getting the new track to be dominant in term of melody and beats but smoothly. Depending on the songs again, If the track ends in set of phrases of beats only u won't notice urself till u find the next track completely in, and if u drop it right the end of the outgoing track usually matches a fill in synth, pad or beats and that s when u wanna do a slide on the fader till the other end smoothly. Again It all depends on the nature of the incoming track so u deal with each case differently. My technique above is in general. Anybody does similar to me?
