haha looks like I went to the wrong night..I was there saturday!!

I had a great time saturday tho...tijs played some good stuff....enough to keep my ass dancing thru the night (if you consider it dancing since I could barely move and inch either way)

Spitty/fotoaddict: true story. I love the NYTA's....but the other new yorkers at tiesto were %100 rude meatheads.....I swear I saw like one girl there and she was a bartender.....

the crowd difference between pvd and tijs was ENORMOUS....Pvd had a great crowd, friendly, no rudeness, and room to dance....all the above is reverse for the tiesto crowd.........
So I don't know if I just love my tota's or if the crowd at tiesto just sucked really bad......

I think a bunch of the problem lately stems from SoundFactory being shut down. It used to draw a good portion of the clubbing gino/a crowd since their (impossible to do without being completely ) 36 hour parties got them in trouble. Something about sandwich bags of crystal on the dj table if i remember right.. Given it's size, it held a serious amount of people.. and now those folks have either spirit, avalon or crobar to choose from for the most part. So for now we're stuck with the overflow..

Pacha is opening soon (dec 9?) in the SF space.. so that will at the very least spread the same people over more club square footage.. (or is it meters for you..)

beyond that it's underground parties, smaller spaces, and brooklyn. Few spots out there that don't throw regular parties, but when they have one they tend to be huge (who loves a warehouse rave?!?!?!)

It also seems that crobar has the same capacity issues Guv has.. extra rooms for "added" capacity, but since we're all in the main room (with way too many people watching like it's a movie...) we're all effed..

true.. these days we have options.. i really shouldn't take that for granted.. come to think of it, all of spitty's stories about TO were either guv or rank1.

still though, i dream of far away lands (london, ibiza, berlin, ...) where the choices make nyc look boring.

right now it's lookin like ferry here on the 9th.. so guv on the 10th might hurt. it's his first stop here in as long as i can remember, and i've heard it's his birthday..

the tracklist was very hard and i loved it
who doesnt like a set that rocks you out of your mind?
rodman was funny, and he was only on the stage a total of 10 mins ABSOLUTE most
prob not even that long
tiesto was almost done by that point anyway

I can't wait for PACHA to open up...I actually waited on these girls who do marketing/advertising for them and they gave me their card SUCH a hard choice...ferry, or morrillo?

On that note, I LOVE NYC and definately am not complaining about the options, there is sooo much here to do it almost makes my head spin (or my wallet empty, you pick!)

I have actually been to some really great parties and met a whoel bunch of great people and ny ta's...CoX, Armin, and PVD were awesome parties, is was only tiesto that I experienced a bad crowd...so I just wanted to clear it up that I love NYC and its parties (and massive amounts of parties) but its just that one night...it won't get me down
