which is why i'm a huge advocate of purpose built gear, none of this shit about mixers with 7890546789 built in effects

and which is why i love my sony mdr-v7506 (psst, they're light and they use metal)

they're also modular, if something breaks i order that part number off the schematic they include and can repair it myself
