Listening...

Intro is wierd, likeing the percussion, are they sampled loops or one shots youve done urself??? like the sound effects here, very nice. kick is a bit dud for now, will get back to that in a moment. In comes the bass, very deep, maybe add a layer of higher octaved bass to give it some mid and presence??? the pads sound cool coming in there but they seem to do nothing atm, maybe a backing melody with that nem?

Breakdown, bit more melody going here with the phatt pads, still dissopointed with no melody tho, and in with the kick in is arite... Breakdown two coming in, better with the snare and still no melody or nothing to drive the tune imo. I like it jus there is something missing...

Percussion work is good, were they sampled loops?

hey karl!

this one passed me by..

just noticed it.

intro is great! reminds me of a vinyl i have by 'dexter' an electro producer.. from the start the whole thing sounds a lot cleaner in production than 'dirt'. but with the filthy sound still present

love the deeep sweeps and the bass.

this sounds very 'svd' in overall sound with some cool little sounds that add to the epicness of the sound.

id definately play this one!

break... this sounds evil! those sweep pads are very nice! top notch!

beat come back.. but too early i wanted a really nice long and moving break. work on the build up more cos i think this would help a great deal on the dance floor...

great work as i ve come to expect from you mate

ps. when its done id love a 320 of this.

rich

Yup I am aware of this but will be sorting it. I just bounced it up here just to get some input but thanks for listening.

Hey Rich,

Glad you like it. I agree it has a lot of structure issues and needs more to it without question as a lot of people have pointed out. I think I was just at a point where I needed input from other people to clear the mind a little. But so far there has been some good advice coming up and will be looking to finish this soon.

Thanks again guys.

Cheers
Nem aka Karl

I enjoyed this thoroughly; it reminds me a little bit of the tune I'm working on at the moment.

I especially like how the pad washes over you.

Nice job, thanks for sharing.

I dont think I've had the pleasure of listening to one of your tunes before, so here goes.

Little lfo squelches at the start are cool.

Theres some percs that are panned hard left. Very distracting

Those rising pads/brass sounds are wicked. Really fills the space.

Subtle melody that comes in about halfway through is pretty simple but works well. I like it how theres a second layer of strings working underneath the pads. Good example of something simple done really well.

I think some of the elements are overused though. By the end, those squelches were getting to me. I think some morphing filter sweeps could work well... something to really slice through all those thick pads. That, or maybe more squeaky style stabs to grab your attention here and there. Just to break it up

Nice work though. A real hypnotic trance tune.
