Thx! Well, it should be since it software-mixed. I havnt played at any parties yet, closest to dj at a party so far has been selecting cd and pressing the play button on the player

Do you own a pair of cd decks or anything? If you can mix with proper equipment then you should get yourself playing at parties. Software mixed or not this is a fantastic track selection in a very creative order.

Ive been hammering this and ste's quality tech-trance mix to and throw from work in my mp3 player this past week. Brilliant stuff.

Too bad it's encoded kind of low (162 kbps VBR).

Nope, not currently. Been playing abit on a friends cd decks. Want to buy my own stuff, but currently i do not have the money for it. Just bought my own apartment and so. But again, thanks for the positive feedback! :)

beowulf7: VBR is for variable bitrate so its not CBP at 162, it shifts in the set :)

Understood, but I'd recommend using "--preset standard" (in LAME 3.97b2), which from my experience, brings up the avg. bitrate to the low 200s.

Right, thx for the tip... using Audiocatalyst though. Dunno if Xing has their own encoder or if they use lame. Anyway i cant really change much en the encoding
