I don't see why progressive and trance should be so divided. It's not like there is this clear border. I'm still unsure of what's progressive and what's trance and I don't really care anymore. I mean, is it possible to spin trance at all without getting something that can be called progressive in between everything?

The Coffee Boys - The Touch (James Holden Remix) Wicked, wicked track
Bpt - Moody (Futureshock Remix) Just thought of this one because of the thread name.

Well Fatboy I think you heard me wrong. The reason i dont want progressive tracks is because there produced to a much much slower beat then what I play my set at. Its hard to switch from the faster style of trance I play to progressive trance in 2 hour set.

Well, what I wrote wasn't only for you, it was also a complicated way of saying that I don't know the exact difference between trance and progressive, hence not knowing if the tracks I wrote for u is progressive or not
And how about pitching them slow tracks up. Some tracks, progressive or trance, sounds ten times better if they're pitched up a whole lot

When I think about progressive I think about the kind of studd Sasha and Digweed play. The style I play is pretty much the same as my hero John'00'Fleming when he plays his harder stuff. Most progressive stuff if it was pitched up to the pace I play at would sound sort of silly.

Oh ya thanks for the tracks those are the type im pretty much looking for

Then you should try some more of James Holdens tunes like "One For You" his remix of Accadia - Into The Dawn and "Horizons" to mention some How about Drax And Scott Mac - Sublime [Darkstar Remix]? Kind of dark tune also..

Peace

Beware Very deep dark progressive house, there is a slight chance of addiciton.

that one's just downright angry!

also fatboy has a point... there shouldnt be a need to divide between progressive and 'trance'.. because there is such thing as progressive trance.. some of which has very uplifting elements to it e.g. planisphere - moonshine, airwave - innerspace... truth is there is a lot of prog trance around that u can pitch up and it sounds better... One For You being my prime example.. that tune has a lot of heavy bass and sounds amazing pitched up at about 140 odd bpm.. i think what ur looking for if u want it faster, is probably like some marco v stuff (e.g. recovered... dark.. moody.. fast )

anyways...

in the meantime look at these 2:

Bosporous - Kinda Scary
Planet Punk - X-T-Cee

both pretty dark soundin.. both need to be fast
