Sometimes, clubs want a DJ to spin an 8-10 hour set, and others will want four 3-hour sets from multiple DJs. When they're contacted for each, why would they decline one just to hang out at the club before or after their set at the other club?
I doubt trends would show that DJs who had multiple bookings spun less-than-par sets, in fact, I bet history would show the opposite because they know they're under watchful eyes.
