while we're on that note.

disco/old rock > dance/euro > jungle/hardcore (oldskool) > hardcore/trancecore > trance (with mixings of club, house & hardhouse) > techno/psy/goa/ambient/chillout

however I still listen to whatever I want to regardless of how old it is. once a good track, always a good track.

I never said that I never listen to any old stuff, only the true great tracks that deserved to be listened to. Basicly theres a lot of shite I've thankfully grown out of. Your a true music fan I suppose/ Whereas i'm not? Is that your general argument? I neither jump on any badnwagons because its cool if i did that i'd have an emo fringe.

Agreed on this. I still whip out some of my old euro albums like 2 Unlimted and Snap! whenever I'm in the mood without a hint of shame. And even music before the Great Electronic Renaissance, I still listen to (well, except for Raffi, of course). I guess it helps I was into stuff like The Police, Boney M, The Beach Boys, and Tears For Fears for a good chunk of my childhood, music that doesn't seem to age at all.

I may not listen to some albums as frequently as others, of course, but that doesn't mean I still don't enjoy the stuff coming out of a Type O Negative or Tea Party or Bone Thugs-N-Harmony release the odd time I do throw it on.

However, that one I.C.P. album...

I really like most kinds of music

similar to mine...

slow rock> metal> Hip-Hop/rap > EDM (hell, i wasnt sure wat i was listening to) > Trance/House/Hardhouse/Techno..

for me, trance is the BIGGEST by far. in the last group, but i listen to a bit of everything else.

I really don't wanna loose the love of trance .. i'm happy to spread my wings slowly, and not loose the emotion and feeling i get from trance...

I'd hate for that to happen. BUt I still want to experience other genres and "expand".
