I have another question, those filters you mentioned there, They are only for the master Channel?, I mean if I want to manipulate the sound witht he filters on different channels at the same time, do I need to buy a pir of these filters?
And what's the price range of these filters?
Thanks. | You need a send/return on your mixer in order to use the filter on any channel. As for using filters on two different channels, you'll either need two filter units, or an Allen & Heath Xone:92 mixer, with two built-in filters.
The Electrix Filter Queen MAP is $149. The Allen & Heath Xone:VF-1 MAP is $599. You should be able to get either of those for less. The Vermona AF-II is just over $300. The Xone:92 MAP is $1699, but can be had for around $1400.
The Filter Queen apparently has some sound quality issues. I would go with a VF-1, but, since you want a mixer with built-in filters, you should go for the Xone:92. To be fair, I have a Xone:92, but would love a VF-1, it's an incredible unit. I haven't used the Vermona. I believe it's a revised version of the Stanton, which has been discontinued.
