Wow most of you have this completely wrong.
What happens when you compress a wav to mp3?
It takes sounds out that the human ear can't hear. This way compressing it. Even a 4:1 ratio on a 320kbit mp3 is still going to be compressed. On your home speakers, sure you wont notice much of a difference, but, play on an audiophile or club system and you will notice a difference.
320 is not bad, but you still lose sounds that you don't hear with your ear that drive the speakers to produce the sounds and rumbles and whatever else it is to make it sound great.
It's 1$ extra to DL something 4x the size that most of you are saying you can't hear the difference. This feature is NOT for you people. Its for the ones that can hear a difference, and the dj's that need the highest quality possible.
So save a dollar and don't worry about it. But if you want the best quality available for digital download, that doesn't sound hollow played out, its finally here.
Cheers,
Mike
