but i just feel that the event managers havent done enuff to market the sasha gig in mumbai...not really sure whether most people from mumbai who arent a part of such forums,know about it.

I ain't the biggest Sasha fan m'self, but it should be a good show considering Bombay doesn't have much going for it (comparitively) in the EDM scene - or whatever u wanna call it. Any of you fools go last night - I heard Bandish Projekt and Shiva Soundsystem rocked.

was there in elevate as well as mumbai too ... will post video soon ... nothing special about sasha this time .... flat mixing ... obviously ... the guy who opened up for sasha at elevate was awesome ... mumbai IVAN opened up wid cheese straight from amsterdam ... what cheap sounds he played ... sasha threw some amazing bassliness in the end .... reallly bouncy.
but wtf madonna - hung up??? WHY???

Yeah it wasn't 'classic' Sasha, but since I never really was his biggest fan, I kinda liked this show. Much more energy (granted, a li'l bit more cheese). I can't comment on the mixing, but I was fairly impressed with the track selection, a few shockers nothwithstanding (ref: vanditpandit's post). Met up with my man Dino too! The second half of the set really kicked, starting around 1.45am. I had to bounce at 3.30 and go straight to the airport for an early morning Jaipur flight - just got back yest. morn. Heading over to Dino's thread to check out the pics.
