doesn't get done as much nowadays because the scene is more divided... most people either want only trance or only house. wasn't unusual back in the 90s though

just listen to some tunes by steve angello, eric prydz (cirez d), sebastian ingrosso, nic fanciulli, or markus schulz. if these artists dont produce tunes which defy genre than i dont know who does. cd1 of ferry corsten's creamfields mix is also a pretty good example...

Anything Andy Moor touches mixes well with trance sets, but that's another one of those that blurs the lines between the genres.

Personaly i have to throw in a hard house track or 2,have to bounce it up every once and a while.No problem at all,and wouldnt have it any other way.

Yea it's not exactly rocket science; a hell of a lot of DJs were doing it up until about 2001, but like you say since then the scene has become more divided.
