This is the e-mail I got from the promoters...
First off, I'd like to apologize to everyone who came in from out of town. One group from Indiana was upset like the rest of us, but said the event turned out to be well worth the trip.
Secondly, I'd like to thank all who provided information on the internet until I was able to get online.
Saturday at 1:45, we were at the Airport awaiting Marco's arrival. We alloted time for Customs check and waited even longer. Getting anxious we approached the Delta desk to be informed that our guest was being held by the INS because of Improper Documentation and he was going to be sent back to Amsterdam at 5:50pm. They would not let us speak with him in person nor by phone. And even though it was late in Holland, the Agency had phoned us to see if there was anything they could do. This is when we called everyone that we knew who might have been able to help, but it was beyond our control. As we all know, the events of September 11th have caused the INS to be on full alert and they can deny entry to anyone without proper documentation.
With all the foreign DJ bags and cases entering this country, the promotional story is no longer working. Artist Mgmt. had affirmed that everything needed to enter the U.S. was at hand and taken care of.
Between verifying that there was nothing we could do up until 6:00pm and driving all over the city to take care of related errands, there was no time to make contact with the general public about the situation. We clearly posted signs at the entrance of the Globe Theatre as well as making sure each customer read the documents before paying entry. That notice will be included here. **All Ticket holders will have their purchases charged back to their card. There is nothing needed to be done on their part.** All ticket holders and guests from afar were NOT charged at the door. The Entrance fee was cut in half at $10.00. Information about a Make-Up party will soon follow.
The cause for this Incident was beyond our control and we put in 110% to be sure there was nothing we could do. It was simply beyond our control.
It seems that for the most part, everyone was satisfied with the overall turnouts. I'd like to thank one of our DJs, Brandon C for filling in at the last minute. From the responses, he seems to have stolen the show. You will be seeing more of him.
And I'd also like to apologize about the sound problem in the main room for the first hour or so. The mixer was acting up.
We'll keep you informed. And Thank you to everyone who came out to have a good time. Thanks to my staff and everyone's assistance.
- Ryan

Marco V was detained and subsequently deported by Immigration and Naturalization Services early this evening reportedly due to his own actions. Therefore, he will not be available for the show this evening as it was promoted. Due to guidelines of Information Privacy, INS was not able to release full details to us at this time. Lost Atlantis Promotions understands and appreciates the difficult task of securing our nation's borders during this time of war against terror. Due to that effort, Immigration and Naturalization Services has been challenged to make sure that only persons legally permitted to be in the United States are allowed. We hope that Marco V is able to resolve the issues that faced him earlier today and able to promote future shows in the United States. We at Lost Atlantis Promotions apologize for any inconvenince this may have caused. It is our sincere hope that you enjoy the remainder of the performers at tonight's show. We hope you will continue to support the artists that perform in this community. Members of our staff will be on hand and happy to assist you if you have any questions or concerns. Cover Charge has been reduced to $10.
Information about a Make-Up Event will soon follow.
Ticket Holders' information is at the Ticket Booth.
