"Max Graham - I Know You're Gone" for me. There's a lot of fanboys of it here on TA (including me), but elsewhere no one seems to have noticed it's the best record to have come along in quite a few years.

Even though it has received some attention, i feel that this track has not been given the credit that it deserves.
I'm not sure I would call it underrated, exactly, but I do think it's one of the top five of the year, and hasn't really been widely recognized as such. Nothing else in the past year sounds quite like it, or does what it does.
