Err, the Chemical Brothers weren't at Freaknight, they were here in April. Are you thinking of The Crystal Method?
Oh, and it'll probably pick-up later in the year. There wasn't much happening this time last year, either. But seriously, there's a lot of local talent that's amazing. The only problem there is that there are only a small number of larger promoters in this area, each with their own talent, who tend to throw almost identical parties with one or two national headliners to spice things up.
By the way, you might want to check out Kinetic. Atmos is spinning (I like his productions), as well as DJ Heather (who might interest you, as she's had a Fabric mix CD). Plus it's at the Pacific Science Center, and has a Psy room too.
And for my third edit... Your sig is too big, Channel Surfer.

in 2005 we had Oakenfold twice, Diggers, BT, PvD, DJ Rap, Scumfrog, Darude, Sandra Collins, Liquid Todd twice, Eddie Haliwell, Bossi of Cosmic Gate, Roger Sanchez, George Acosta, Christopher Lawrence, ATB, Chemical Brother, Gabriel & Dresden twice and a slew of other people. I know in the next couple weeks we're going to get DJ Rap @ Trinity 1/20, Dubfire of Deep Dish @ LSC 1/20, Danny Howells @ LSC 1/27, Marco V at LSC, Blank and Jones at Element. I say 05 was a starter year for Seattle, who knows we may see Sasha again or get a TiC @ Key Arena .
