So we ended up getting at the club around 10pm where we awaited my other friends so we could go in. After my friends who were 21 got their hands stamped, my friend that I drove who was 18 decided to try and be sneaky and quickly transfer the ink that shows your 21 so you can drink to his hand before it dried. Sounds like a wounderous plan, only he did it before we passed the paying booth in which looks at your hand then gives you a wrist band if you are 21+. So the girl at the booth looked as his hand and saw that the ink was faded and was upsidedown nontheless. She promptly ordered him to leave and come back another night, as she knew he tried to fake the stamp and his age. For me, being his only ride, had had no other choice but to leave as well. It wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't had to drive an hour to get there. Im just glad it wasn't PvD or someone that I really really wanted to see.

Thank God we didnt have to go through any of that carry-on when we were underage... here in England it's a case of look old enough and you get in. If you don't, then you don't get in. If you get in you can drink.

I'd have been devastated mate, you should've sent him to another club and arranged to meet later - those tats of DJ Rap's are too outstandin to miss!

And yes Rainborn you're right, she's a friend of Brian Transeau... have you heard "Bad Girl" by DJ Rap?? BT did a quality remix of that.

but whilst we're on about BT, best track ever is the HHC remix of Flaming June. Normally this track appears on cds in the form of the PVD/Chicane remix but Graham Gold put the HHC remix in towards the end of his cd "Kiss Mix '97" - that's a cd that's never sounded dated at all and its about 10 years old! I still listen to it now.

Ive got the HHC remix and the Chicane/PVD remix on two separate vinyls but lost the HHC remix - how annoying is it when you lose a quality record?! It's devastating!

Ah then you might be disappointed with the BT version as this was definitely not DnB... it was more like proggy/techy, maybe even a little funky. But original mixes may be totally different, haven't heard them tho.

Man, "Bad Girl" has such a great drum beat. It's like BOOM pow crash BOOM pow crash... how could you not wanna dance to that?

She's also friends with Ferry Corsten btw. Think they went on tour together, check her remix of "Indigo".

It's a proper tuff track me thinks, hard to describe.
