How about the fact that they are trying to limit free speach on the internet? Over the course of the last year, they have started ristricting internet news, that which is created and even accessed in China. They have limited and shut down blog sites based in China. They are limiting these things on the ISP level. Which means info can't get in or out when they rule.
I would bo much more worried about something like this, vs a pit bull ban. |

The CRTC reminds me a lot of how communist countries are run. The government decides which radio, tv, and now which satellite radio stations you can watch/listen to. They even decide which formats should and should not exist in a marketplace. You have to apply to the government to get a cable station? Give me a break.
As i said, they are loosening their grip over there and at the same time we are tightening ours.
