Glad I can help!

One thing I forgot to mention was the use of filters. On the device playing the basic patch (DiscoBass on the NN-XT in my Combo) turn the cutoff down slightly and the resonance up. -20 for Cutoff and +20 for Resonance is a good starting point for the Combinator patch posted above.

Bass, bass n more bass.....
I m a newbie and i face bass as the most challenging thing when i make my tracks.You can see that allmost all my tracks lacks good bass and i dont know to create one either.I am using Fruity loops and will see if this tutorial can help me.

Here's another trance bassline

you need a sort of rolling sound bass, with some of the lows equed out, and a sub bass.

The rolling bass is like this

highest octave - |....|....|....|...X|
middle octave - |..X.|.X.X|..X.|..X.|
lowest octave - |.X.X|..X.|.X.X|.X..|

And the sub bass

|.X.X|..X.|.X.X|..X.|

And this is how it sounds - with some delay on the rolling bass
