i have no complaints wiht the loop on my 275. i mean as said before it has everything you need, but not much more. the FX loop has pre/off/post swtiches on each channel. you can cue the fx, and send, return level controls.
i did do the rotary conversion on mine and really enjoy it more with the knobs. the only things that i think this mixer lacks are individual channel meters (but the cue meter works well enough, its just allways peaking when im cueing multiple tracks at a time), a crossfader off switch, and a way to cue your master output in your headphones.
i really love the eq curves and kills, you can do some cool shit just playing with these. and the dual headphone output comes in handy if you ever do a tag team with a friend.
overall this mixer has really solid feel and the sound quality is great for the money. im very happy with mine and will probably keep it until i upgrade to a xone or rane.
as far as the 004 goes, it definitly doesnt have the feel as the 275, feels alot cheaper IMO. the faders are too short for me and i just cant do without a loop. the faders are also very tight and dont feel very smooth to me, but i do like the fact that its 4ch and has the individual chanel meters which the 275 doesnt.
