Ski socks

Skiing is fun. You will have a blast. Just make sure to wear some sort of water-proof outer layer

Thnaks for the advice!!!! One more quick question. What about foot wear(shoes, boots) should I bring a comfortable type boots or should I rent from the ski place I go to. If I have to its not big deal but I weanna make sure ski places do have boot rentals though because if not then I might have to get some fast!

If your skiing you need ski boots to fit into the bindings of the ski. Similar situation for snowboarding. So you have to rent those. Make sure they are snug, when u lock them down tight. If you get the wrong size it can ruin your day.

As for walking around town and stuff, tennis shoes should be fine, but watch out for slippery ice and snow.

You need to spend a ton of money.

Layers are the way to go. I usually wear cotton or polyester on the inside, turtleneck + thermal underwear. I'll add a merino wool sweater (stays warm, even when wet) if it's really cold. On the outside it's all about Gore-Tex (waterproof and it breathes), pants + hard-shell.

all the clothing and jacket wear is taken care of, Without good clothing and lots of falls in the snow, Def would of runied the trip because when I went last time and just snow tubbed, I was wearing jeans and sneakers! only lasted 1hr doing it until my feet were freezing! but now I will be prepared due to your good ideas. Thnaks
