Everything I've bought has been brand new and I won't have it any other way. I'm not one to settle for used stuff, especially with regards to audio and video equipment, as I know exactly what I'm getting and in what current state/condition the gear is in (save of course for factory defects). Also, I get much more pride and gratification in knowing that I was able to purchase something with a higher price tag as brand new, however moot that might seem.

x2 1210m5g new

dnd4500 -new

vmc-004 -new (sold)

pmc-55 (used)

i almost went all new. i was saving up for a nuo-4, then i changed my mind and decided to go for the nuo-5. at the time, it was cheapest new mixer i could find that had everything i wanted, in terms of features, and sound quality. that was until i saw a killer deal on the pmc-55. the fact that i could go rotary, and switch back to faders if i didn't like it was the main factor that made me take the plunge. on top of that i had a good idea of how good it would sound, and i knew i would be getting a solid, and reliable mixer.

if i EVER buy another mixer it will definately an extremely high end rotary. -nothing less, and nothing w/faders.
