This is a very important vote and I encourage everyone who can vote do so....but please don't vote just because....have a well thought out reason why you are voting for who you choose. Remeber....this is your say in who runs our country.

Okay, but let's qualify that with the fact that most major outlets are predicting 130-145 seats for the CPC.

The Bloc doesn't exactly have Quebec in the bag either, judging by what the latest reports have been. Conservatives have *very* strong support in Quebec because they've promised to respect Provincial matters.

On the whole, you're right - everybody should vote, as long as they've thought it through and know what they're voting for. This is indeed a very important vote for Canada, and at the risk of being melodramatic, may become at least a minor pivotal moment in this country's history. To me, this election is not only a fight between parties, but a fight between change and status quo... between enthusiasm and apathy.

phew...back just in time from my stay at the Shouldice Clinic (good for you for having the sense to go there Mr. Layton).

I will hobble over to cast my vote for Liberal Bill Graham tomorrow.

I'll save the fear mongering and all that...but mark my words that people will be sorry if we have a CPC gov't. I hope the Liberals pull it out and wake up though.

Two-thirds of Canadians, including 83% of Quebeckers, are sorry we have a Lieberal government.

The poll, conducted by the Strategic Counsel for The Globe and Mail-CTV News, shows that 66 per cent of those surveyed say it's time for a change and a new government needs to be voted in, a number that has jumped from 54 per cent at the beginning of the campaign.

By contrast, only 24 per cent of Canadians say now is not the time for a change, down 15 percentage points during the same period. The question of whether it is time for a change has been crucial since the beginning of the campaign, when Liberals attempted to persuade voters not to take a risk on a Tory government while the economy was humming.

explain how this is relevant to my suggestion that people will regret a CPC gov't?

yes, but I've pointed out that logic isn't your forte, so:

That people are unhappy with the Liberals, it does not follow that they will be any happier with the CPC...but hey, we all have our own vote and can cast it as we each see fit
