I didn't get a return email and there was no way I was going to pay 30 to get in, so hope it was fun and that things work more smoothly for Jody Wisternoff.

I even went thru my spam...

deadline was 4pm on friday.. but i went straight to the front and said "boris is the shit and im on his list" luckily victor D was in line and I said whatsup.. I think that helped me get in hahah.. SuP VictoR!
I dug Boris's set for sure, totally rocked it. too bad the $30 cover scared half san diego away.. Belo has potential..

here my two cents on the night:

the venue is nice and has potentail

the crowd: please get some promoters that can pull in an electornic crowd. there was a bigger hiphop crowd that electronica!

sound is ok but has potential.

i heard the coming lineup and other than jody and boris, I will pass on the rest. they might as well stick w/ local guys. i think the local guys will put any of the upcoming traveling djs into shame.

current club rating 4/10 but w/ some help it can be a 9 or 10/10 club
1) get a promoter
2) drop the admission price to $20-25
3) get better djs
the rest is history
easy as 1,2,3

overall a nice night musically. unfortunately not a good attendence no thanks to i sure the greedy venue w/ $30 cover and no promoter to spread its word. what a shame, but i had fun.

i had a really good time as well, i love the venue and the crowd is a lot better than Stingaree's. I would of walked lot faster to the venue if i had known a lingerie party was opening for boris... geez

the sound was good, not too heavy on either end. it was cool seeing everyone

you pretty much summed it up for me. the space is great but it can be a lot more. hopefully things will change...

I agree! $30 isnt THAT bad, but i do agree for a new club its expensive. i know they need to make the money back and all but when its a new opening they should have made it cheaper. hope you all had fun. i was at armin last night and he put on a great energetic show imho.
