It's just a nice track and there's not much wrong about it. Very well produced, mixed etc. It's got this atmosphere inside the track and that's tough to make. There are only so many producers who can actually create that much of an ambience in a track Nick's one of 'em. Others that come to mind are BT and of course Brian Eno. Nick was in the zone when he made that track.

Saltwater is beautiful, it's like someone before mentioned also dreamy and I can feel it every single time I hear it. It's a great vocaltrack and Marie Brennan is singing on Gaelic which is even more cool

so. he's just turned 16 and he's from Aplz-ville. If that doesn't show he's a fucking clueless dick (Who in sports discussion used the argument of calling someone a "Yank" as abusive.

This track is just dreamy, it's not meant to do anything major (read this all of the try-hard epic producers of today) It just does what it has to, emotional, beautiful & dreamy

Grrrrrrrr. Inb4dablock.

I couldn't find anything appealing in Saltwater 'back in the day'. But when I'd gone through my cheese, and other trance and came back to it later, it is not only a techincal masterpiece, but a beautiful, haunting and 'jam-packed with emotion' piece of music.

Nick's one of the few producers I admire for never releasing a bad track. Despite what some people think about ETA, I think he's a master of his work and the genre. He will only ever release the most perfected and finely polished tracks.

On another note, apart from Live @ Palladium, I cannot find Tomski vs. Disco Citizens remixes anywhere, nor can I find 'Mojave'. If anyone does know where I can buy, or 'sample!' these tracks, can you PM me please?

Thanks in advance...

I know why it sucks. There's not an Alex M.O.R.P.H remix of it.

alright, it doesn't suck at all in fact.

This is your opinion. What some people think is a great track, is an utter shit track to others. That's what makes this forum diverse.

Now please never make another thread ever again.

I don't know how you can call it boring. The thing about Chicane that always stops me dead in my tracks is his complexity. It's something so many artists these days forget about, and it's the thing that really separates the good from the great.
