would have been up for showing you round but i'm doing Slinky the night before in Bournemouth so i will probably be a bit of a state.

Bournemouth is a nice town, i'd recommend just having a coffee down at one of the beachfront bars and watch the world go by.

So so looking forward to this event, bring it on

'kin jesus, i just looked up train times from bristol... getting there doesn't look too bad (straight down to southhampton, bus to bournemouth) but should i wish to get back in the morning i face this 5-hour 5-change monstrosity:

Station Arr Dep Travel by Service Provider
BOURNEMOUTH 07:05 Train SOUTH WEST TRAINS
BROCKENHURST 07:32 07:38 Bus SOUTH WEST TRAINS
SOUTHAMPTON CENTRAL 08:19 08:25 Train SOUTH WEST TRAINS
BASINGSTOKE 09:00 09:14 Train SOUTH WEST TRAINS
READING STATION 09:32 09:50 Train FIRST GREAT WESTERN
BRISTOL TEMPLE MEADS 11:14 11:28 Bus VIRGIN TRAINS
BRISTOL PARKWAY 11:53

fuck that for a game of soliders. would be quicker/easier going via london!

Haha, that pretty much sums up Sunday trains in this country. Going via London sounds like a bit of journey as well.

yeah rick (moondog) looked up for one, apparently it's nearly 4 hours each way

there is one train service from southampton to here on the sunday but it involves waiting around for 3 hours after the event finishes, which doesn't sound too appealing

Getting the train anywhere on a Sunday is a bad idea these days, getting back from London to here can involve a bus somewhere

Having just looked at the train times on the Sunday morning there is a better way to get back to Bristol then that route.

BOURNEMOUTH dep 08:55 Bus
SOUTHAMPTON CENTRAL arr 09:45
SOUTHAMPTON CENTRAL dep 09:55 WESSEX TRAINS
View live train progress
Train
CARDIFF CENTRAL arr 12:37

Granted this is to Cardiff but this train must stop at Bristol Parkway or Temple Meads.
