ok then i guess i agree with you. unless they animal is dying off because of our actions, then we should have no say in whether an animal survives or not. People who try to save species because they're dying by natures course, should themselves be killed because they're not really helping anyone. They're just throwing the eco-system off-balance

Humans are nature's creation, therefore whatever we do is natural. Just like termites consume trees to build their homes, we consume everything to build and maintain ours' bc we are bigger, smarter (by my standards neways), and have nukes.

breeding restrictions need to apply to human beings. I propose that sex be banned for 10 years. Those who are found fornicating will be thrown into the firey pit of Vulfarang.

99 % of the species on earth are now extinct.. really in the big scheme of things it doesnt really matter. What we are doing is artificial selection, which is encouraging certain species to evolve quicker (dogs and other domesticated animals) and also by taking away territory from animals we're causing evolution trees to stop by quicker extinction.

Nature wasnt intended to proceed so quickly, its obvious that we are playing a huge role in the selection of species to evolve. In the grand scheme of things it doesnt really make a difference. But morally it should.

What makes you such an expert on what nature was *intended* to proceed as, human?

Yeah, humans are clearly the lowest form of life on the planet. Our exertion over the very life of everything on Earth is meaningless. The power to destroy is the power to control, so I guess that makes us fairly weak, huh?

We are strong because we have developed such cognitive prowess as to invent morality which inhibits this potential for wanton destruction more often than not. People in this thread rallying for animal protection are proof enough - what other species devotes large efforts towards the protection of other species? Koko and her kitten do not count.
