I think you were drunk if you think Jean was good...he sucked ass, mixing sucked and a few of his records were broken to, I dont understand why ppl like Jean.
Only good set I got from him is a 4 hour set @ club Eau, the rest is shit
I guess some ppl have very bad taste

Luckely people have different tastes, this is not a forum to shit on people. I thought jean was OK. The wrong mixing was not his fault. If you listen to all the other DJ's, they also have screw-ups (Mark Spoon, ATB). I quess that there was someting wrong with the turntable.

Rank 1 will be broadcasted tonight (3 march) on TMF (dutch music television) so try to record it from there. I don't think they will broadcast the whole set, because they take one hour for Rank 1, Mark Spoon and ATB. But at least you can hear and see a bit.

DJ Jean is crap! I've never seen him play his own set but I find embaressing that somebody so useless is even trying! His remixes and his own stuff are shite! "The Launch" and "Love Come Home" are all cheesy old Klubbheads style, not even trance!

I didn't actually say Sash! was trance, I said if you were just new to trance there was nothing wrong with listening to Sash!, I suppose there's nothing wrong with listening to DJ Jean either if you don't know much! I woudn't listen to Sash! now are DJ Jean but if I had to I'd actually rather listen to Sash! than DJ Jean, and DJ Jean playing his own set is ridiculous. I also listened to a compilation mixed by DJ Jean and I thought it was pathetic. I really do not see anything remotely talented about DJ Jean! Not only was his choice of tracks poor but the mixing wasn't up to scratch either. So there's my opinion...

I don't try to annoy anyone, the ones like the one who claimed to be "angered" over somebody comparing Sash! to Sasha are the ones who annoy me more than anything! They are the immature little bastards who probably can't tell the difference and have probably never even seen Sasha to appreciate him or don't even know how to mix themselves! Sasha is one of the best DJ's, but there is nothing wrong with listening to Sash! from time to time!
