cd has been mixed and mastered as we speak...
must say from initial listening it is a very special mix that breaks all the rules, twisting and turning where old meets new with some very grandois moments that have and old Sasha '95 feel to them...
so essentially a bit of back room house on CD1 & front room mayhem on CD2 and everything in between... there's no real category for this mix other than quality music all the way with a bit of education on house music thrown in for good measure...
tracklisting to be released soon... watch this space...

first off, since there hasn't been any posts here in a while, i must say i am luving this mix to the fullest... CD1 is THE summer night soundtrack to driving around town, smooooth and sexy house... i still have yet to give CD2 a full listen cos i keep going back to CD1 anyone else's thoughts? i've been following paolo mojo's productions for a while because i've always liked his sound, but i never knew he mixed!
on an aside:> am i just crazy, or is track #5 definitely NOT "alexkid - pick it up"?! i have "pick it up" as a single w/ remixes on my computer, and the lyrics are not the same neither is the vocalist... i first thought i had a bad track name on my files, but all 3 of the remixes i have contain the same vocal line, so i'm thinking something got mixed up here. only reason i ask is because I LUV track #5 and i want it, does anyone know what track it really is?!
chorus lyrics:
its been hard for me, how was it for you?
you look like you've been feeling pretty good
i can see through this face you put on
yeah your still the one that i want
i was so happy, felt so solid
never even thought of someone else
and everything you said, i just swallowed
never questioning the source
i guess i was naughty
had me sprung fast
licking water from your hands
oh next time you meet somebody
kiss them on the cheek
and don't forget to say "hi"
heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp i luv this track

I just got this CD from my HMV, first cd is amazing!! I come from a pretty trance-heavy background, the furthest I ever went into house was Gabriel and Dresden (lol I know they're terrible now), and some James Holden (loved Balance 005), and CD1 is AWESOME on this compilation, the mixing is really slick and the mix actually goes somewhere, I haven't heard anything this smooth in a long time, I will be trying out a lot more house as a result.
