Hi people.
I have a question about Pitching in Ableton (i'm a noob)
i found the way to nudge bud then you skip further in the song then i would like.
Is there a way to pitch-bend normally like a TT or CDJ would do.
And how do you set to do it with a Keybord shortcut?

Thanx in advanced.

The only way to do it is pitch up then pitch back down.

I was looking at buying an m-audio evolution mk449c (something like that) get one of those x-session things. I cannot remember what brand but i think they where nice cheap/simple.

OK, thank you;
Can i tap and then let te BPM adjust (also after the , )

How did you guys set it up, i can only find one key for one thing.

With a controller it will be nicer i think but will it work with a slide too ?

You can tap the bpm in whenever you want but it want be as precise as you need it to be.
Ofcourse you can use a slider, that is exactly what we have been talking about.

Once i get a midi controller i can just use it to ride the pitch like when using turntables. Much better then
shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up shift+up...
shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down shift+down...

I find pressing up ... then down works fine for pitch bending (or vice versa), and just using shift for fine adjustments

I was gonna build a midi pitch slider, but after a little practice decided it wasnt worth the effort
