This is totally cool. I really hope they just leave the place alone. Human activity would totally suck in such a beautiful place.

Hundreds of thousands of those tree kangaroos have the human strain of syphilis now that the location of this oasis has been revealed and I have tarnished it.

Holy crap, literally one minute after clicking this thread, the local news had a story about it.
WITH PICTURES (albeit only 4 or 5). I was a little sceptical too until the news ran this story as I was reading the thread

That's pretty cool for sure, and further lends credence that we know a lot less about ourselves, the planet we live on, and the universe around us than we think.
